About me - Guanyang (Gavin) Zhang 张冠阳
My research broadly revolves around the systematics of weevils (Curculionoidea) and assassin bugs (Reduviidae). I worked on a broad range of topics including taxonomy, phylogenetics, phylogenomics, comparative morphology, biogeography, bacterial symbiosis and host plant associations. I obtained a PhD in Entomology from the University of California, Riverside and Dr. Christiane Weirauch was my doctoral advisor.
